‘TEMPFLUO’ IS OF THE ESSENCE
Time is something we cannot see, but feel, and that’s the feeling you’ll get with TEMPFLUO. It means ‘time flow’ in the international Esperanto language, and the sense of it can be measured by the savory suite of bergamot, mandarin, saffron, jasmine, praline, cedar wood and orange flowers. Nishane dedicated this essence to the way we perceive time as an olfactive proposal of using time as an instrument, and never as a couch we just sit on.

Nishane has never shied away from difficult topics and made many of them into hugely successful scents. And, if anyone could make a collection dedicated to showing how significant humanity actually is in the grand scheme of the Universe, it’s them! And they did it through TIME CAPSULE Collection! How can be represented time as such an abstract idea in an olfactive medium? According to Anne Filipo, the Master Perfumer creator, time is an interplay between the fresh, the sweet and bitter metallic notes, wrapping around each other in a never-ending dance. The first sensation that hits is the clear, crisp freshness of orange blossom and dewy jasmine. The next accord enters the stage almost instantly, the sharp bitter, metallic saffron that cuts through the floral-fruity niceness. The second you need to focus on saffron is used by its unlikely companion to appear, the sweet accord of caramel and milk-chocolate praline. In Tempfluo everything is happening as once, as time perception: we cannot hold the past, touch the future or capture the present.
