Hamid Merati-Kashani, Principal Perfumer, is a master of blending worlds—cultural and olfactory. Born in Germany to an Iranian father and German mother and raised in the rose-scented air of Isfahan, Iran, Hamid’s multicultural upbringing shaped his unique approach to fragrance. He draws on the opulence of Middle Eastern luxury and pairs it with German precision, creating bold and elegant scents. He does not avoid overdosing on his favorite ingredients…as his approach to fragrance creation is consuming. “As a perfumer, you live fragrance, sleep fragrance, eat fragrance, and you smell fragrance every day. Somehow, 24 hours, seven days a week, you are connected to fragrance and cannot switch off.”
